Today is the digital photographic age. However, around the 1990s I jumped into the photographic world where photography was still analog. It was a place in Tokyo where the latest technology was adopted among leading photographers, competing in the industry. Solid "craftsmanship" skills and knowledge were prerequisites for studio photography and focused on technique and work abilities. Many of these cases were high-pressure jobs that took over twelve hours sometimes to complete without any mistakes. I managed to gain extensive experiences that cannot be taught in the current digital world. This experience in the analog environment included; handling many types of cameras, lighting techniques and darkroom work. These valuable skills I mastered were the "craftsmanship" skills developed over the ten-year experience. Principle of utilizing the valuable experience of my work is done carefully to get involved and demonstrate all the work for respectable solid "craftsmanship" skills as a photographer in today's digital age.
